A typical day at The Mill School

A typical day at The Mill School starts with the children’s arrival at 8.45am.

Registration is followed by a structured morning of lessons including an Assembly and a break.

At lunchtime the children enjoy either a freshly cooked hot meal or
a salad alternative. The children sit in House groups which ensures
a mixed age group of children on each dining table.

After lunch the children have another break with the opportunity to partake in a lunchtime club.

Following afternoon lessons, the school day finishes at 4.00pm, except for those who have chosen to attend extra curricular activities which finish at 5.00pm.

From Year 3, all children have prep to complete each evening.

Extended School Care is now available between 8.00 - 8.30am and 4.00 - 6.00pm to help working parents with childcare. This facility is available during term time.
