"On leaving the school this morning following a uniform sale, the salesperson remarked on how lovely the parents had been.

Mrs S, a parent from West Lavington, replied:

“Of course the parents are lovely, the staff are too and it is a lovely school."





School Trips

During the school year the children enjoy can enjoy a variety of educational experiences.

Recent visitors to the School include a Roman soldier, a stunt woman, The History People, and a theatre group.

Trips out of School have recently included Slimbridge, Berkeley Castle, Bristol Zoo, Beaulieu and Wyld Court Rainforest.

At Christmas, all the children enjoy visiting Salisbury Playhouse to see a pantomime.

Once a year when all the senior school entrance examinations are completed Year 6 go on a residential visit for a week. In recent years this has been to Barton Hall near Torquay or to Osmington Bay in Dorset.

The children take part in a variety of activities which vary from year to year but may include any or all of the following: Raft Building, Archery, Abseiling, Climbing, Fencing, Various ICT Activities and Zip Wire.
