		The Curriculum The Mill School curriculum is based on the core and foundation subjects of the National Curriculum. The School has retained traditional elements whilst keeping pace with changes in modern education. We believe children find security in routine so a formal timetable is followed by each class. Small class sizes allow each child to receive individual attention which in turn allows them to fulfil their potential. The curriculum aims to prepare children for any future opportunity or responsibility. The education they receive at The Mill School will also be a strong basis for further education. Year 6 children receive preparation for all types of entrance examinations, in consultation with their parents. The Mill School is not affiliated to any one senior school and has an exceptional success rate for entry to many independent and grammar schools.
